This section of our website is a live Joomla CMS site. It only shows a small percentage of what Joomla can do, (we'll be adding more to it as time goes by) but for now, feel free to browse around and see some of what a CMS website feels like.

The website you're looking at is a standard layout, the only real customizing I did was put our own header at the top and made the background black (so you'd know you were still on our website)

There are hundreds (even thousands) of Joomla templates you can choose from and most of them can be customized to make your website unique.

If you like what you see, let us know, we can create and customize one for you!

What is a CMS?

CMS stands for Content Management System.

This is a website platform that allows you to create a dynamic web presence for a wide range of uses.

You can use it for just about any type of web presence you desire, from news sites, to blog sites, to showcase galleries, to E-commerce sites (just to name a few).

A CMS allows you to administrate and control the content of your web presence without knowing anything about coding, servers, or any of the other technical mysteries that can seem so overwhelming to us mere mortals.

One of the best CMS platforms available is Joomla.

It offers ease of use for the beginner, as well as dynamically sophisticated  applications for the more advanced webmasters.

If you're looking to create a professional web presence for yourself, or your business, then a CMS might be just what you're looking for. And the award winning Joomla is absolutely one of the best.

Joomla has a huge support community to help you navigate and troubleshoot just about any difficulties you might encounter. And with hundreds of add-ons, and plug-ins, you'll be able to have a website that will do pretty much anything you could want your website to do.

There are other CMS platforms you could choose from, like Drupal (A bit more sophisticated, but the learning curve is very steep and the support community is much smaller)

or PHP-Nuke (one of the originals, but far less secure, less dynamic, and the support community is dwindling away with each passing year) and there are a few others out there as well.

But in my humble opinion (and the opinion of millions of other users) Joomla is the best.

Joomla is an "Open Source" project, which means it's free for you to use and customize to your liking.

So, if it's free, why would you pay anyone else to set it up for you..? Of course you can download it... install it... and set it up yourself.

But before you dive right in, just to save a few bucks, you'll need to know a little bit about PHP code (so you can customize it), Databases (so you can connect the pieces together and make them all work), and it would also be nice to have someone walk you through the backend of the admin section (so you don't have to spend days trying to figure out how to update and maintain your site)

That's where we come in... For a very reasonable fee, we can take care of all the necessary technical work, so all you'll need to do is decide what you want your new website to look like, and function like.

Then I can help you get acquainted with the administration end (backend) of your site, so you'll be able to easily update and maintain your site whenever you want.

Our reasonable fee is a small price to pay, to avoid all the frustration of setting up a website yourself. Especially when your time could be better spent working on other aspects of your business.
